Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them, and similar technologies, for a few limited purposes:
- Google Analytics (connected through Google Site Kit) uses cookies to help us understand how many people visit our site and which pages they view.
- Independent Analytics records visit statistics on our own server.
- Cloudflare and Cloudflare Turnstile help keep the website fast and secure and check that form submissions come from real people. They may set cookies needed for security.
We do not use advertising cookies on this website. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as expected. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Services we use
We use trusted service providers to run our website and business. They only receive the information they need to do their job:
- Our web hosting provider and Cloudflare, for hosting, security and performance
- Google, for analytics, search performance data and website fonts
- Akismet and Cloudflare Turnstile, to filter spam
- Our email provider, to send and receive messages
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us there
Some of these providers are based outside The Bahamas, including in the United States, so your information may be processed there.
When we share information
Apart from the service providers above, we only share your information:
- With your permission
- With professional advisers, such as accountants or lawyers, where needed
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public
- As part of a sale or restructuring of our business, under the same protections
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and for up to two years if no project goes ahead. Client and invoice records are kept for as long as we need them for the project and for our legal and accounting obligations. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of each tool.
How we protect information
Our website uses SSL encryption, and we use access controls, regular updates and backups to protect the information we hold. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.
